Bookplate Signing Party (Part One!)

The bookplates arrived... and they are gorgeous!
But, hey, you don't have to take my word for it...
So... many... bookplates!
If you look closely at the photo (especially the bookplate on the bottom left), you'll see that the border and trim of the bookplate (beautifully designed by artist JanApple) has been embossed, making these bookplates even more special! Consider this my holiday bonus to you for being so awesome!
As I type this these bookplates are on their way to Jan for her signature, and then they will be sent to the Source Point Press warehouse where the books will be arriving soon. More on that in a moment! First...
The Backerkits are Closing Soon! Did you complete yours?
There's about 20 Backerkits that still haven't been completed yet... and you need to fill that out so you can get your books on time! Seriously: That's how we get your mailing address, as well as lock in your order. Even if you're not adding-on anything else, please, please fill it out so you can get your "Box o' Dirk" on time!
The U.S. Mail system is working at peak capacity right now, but it looks like they books will still be arriving at Source Point Press headquarters -- between Christmas and New Year's Day. Our goal is to then immediately start shipping out the books... especially since we are actively planning for the double-header TALES OF MR. RHEE OMNIBUS/TALES OF MR. RHEE Volume 5 Kickstarter to launch in February... and it's going to be pretty tricked-out campaign.

Update on printing and shipping! We have estimated dates!

WE HAVE ESTIMATED DATES!
Hey all!
This is just a quick update to let you all know that the book is at the printer, and we've received estimated delivery dates from the printer regarding when they'll arrive at the Source Point Press fulfillment center, so of course I wanted to share them with you all to keep you in the loop!
Right now the word from the printer is that the books will arrive at customs here in the U.S. on December 17th, with an estimated delivery date to the fulfillment center on December 25th. Given that it will be the holiday season there could be minor ebbs and flows in that schedule... but that should be pretty darn close!
This means the books should start shipping out in early January, and I assure you, we want to get them out the door quickly, as we're already planning our next campaign for February... and it's going to be a RHEE-ly good -- and big -- one.
Heh.
In the meantime, the bookplates should be arriving for me to sign them soon -- and I'll be sure to send an update with photos of them when they arrive. We went ahead and added a nice little surprise enhancement to them I can't wait for you all to see...

I HAVE SEEN THE FINAL DIGITAL PROOF... AND IT IS GORGEOUS!
As mentioned in the last update, Source Point Press Art Director Josh Werner has done a stunning job on the book design for BURIED BUT NOT DEAD. I just signed-off on the final digital proof today, and it will now be going to the printer this week... and this is an absolutely gorgeous book thanks in no small part due to the design work Josh has put into it.
In the last update I shared the back cover as a peek... and there's several more cool surprises in store for those of you who are getting the Kickstarter Exclusive Hardcover.

The digital proof has arrived...

And it's GORGEOUS!
Seriously, friends: I've obviously been excited about this book for a while now (and I'm still reeling at how many Stretch Goals we unlocked)... but my excitement has gotten even greater given that SourcePoint Press Art Director Josh Werner delivered the Digital Proof to me today...
And, legit, folks... my jaw dropped.
As a creator you always try to at least match (if not surpass) your last release -- and while all of my books from Source Point Press have been gorgeous -- Buried But Not Dead may gave just run away with the prize.
You've all seen the front cover, of course... but here's an exclusive peek at the back cover:
(And for those of you who are well-versed in my library of books, yes, my intent was for the back cover design of this book to thematically align with the back cover to Love Stories (to Die For), as this serves as a "spiritual companion" piece to that one while we wait for the release of LS2D42 in 2022.)
And good gravy, friends... to think that those bottom three squares represent stories included in this book only because of you! Y'all rock. Big time.
The plan right now is for the files to be delivered to the printer early next week, so things are moving right along! If you haven't filled out your BackerKit yet, do so HERE, please... and I'll be in touch with another update soon.

Hey all... and Happy Sunday!
An overwhelming amount of you have completed your BackerKit to finalize your pledges (and also treated yourself to some extra Source Point Press books in the process), but if you haven't please take a moment to do so here so we can ensure you get your books in a timely process:
As mentioned in the last update, the final design elements of the book are being completed as we speak, so I'll have another update for you soon!
That aside, I'll be spending the day starting to work on my November newsletter (I'll make sure you all get a chance to check it out -- it'll have some cool stuff in there that may be of interest to you all), but I'll be taking a break this evening to join my Source Point Press peers illustrator Marianna Pescosta, editor Drena Jo, and Art Director Josh Werner for the last day of Baltimore Comic Con for a game of MonsDRAWsity!
